Pat DiVita, Neighbor

I recently retired from Beaumont Health Systems and am loving every minute of it.  I have lived  with my husband in our "starter" home here in Ferndale for the last 33 years.  Our community is vibrant and exciting and I have no desire to leave.  Well, maybe during the dead of winter I might dream of Florida beaches.......  Every November I write a novel during the 30 days of NaNoWriMo.  It is a 30 day marathon of words that has yielded seven novels including a trilogy set in Grosse Pointe that highlights the lives of three young women growing up in the sixties.  I hope to become more involved in the life of our community over the next year and love the idea of Patch!
