Bio: I love community journalism and have been reporting the news since my college days. I spent my first summer home from Eastern Michigan University at an internship with C&G Newspapers, and spent the following summer interning with the Macomb Daily. I served as editor-in-chief of EMU's student-run newspaper, the Eastern Echo, my junior year and picked up plenty of freelance work along the way. After graduating with my journalism degree, I worked as a reporter covering Ypsilanti for the Ann Arbor News and later covered the city of Troy as a reporter with C&G Newspapers.

I've spent the past few years freelancing for various publications, with my work appearing in the Toledo City Paper, Ann Arbor Family Press, Metro Parent Magazine, EduGuide.org and of course, Patch.com!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and sampling as many ice cream flavors as humanly possible.

Hi again.

There is still the same problem with your reviews system, and trying to account for it, I see that it is worse than I had thought before. I tried to delete my old post for Chazzano, and then repost to see if I could get the rating to be counted. Instead, it again didnt add the rating, and additionally, it kept the previous reviews, so it has the duplicate review, and no ratings.

Hi Jessica,

There may be something wrong with your reviews and ratings on this site. When I wrote a review for Chazzano, and gave a rating, the rating did not show up for its listing. I see there is a seperate area for reviews, and a seperate one for rating, with a box under the rating for additional notes. this seems a bit redundant, but when I also put my rating in the rating area, it said I could only leave one review or rating per day. Somethings off.
