How much is it going to cost us on our next bill to cover the use/transportation/installation of this generator? How about you just fix the problem DTE and stop putting band aids (smart meters, which we conveniently had installed roughly a week before the blackouts) over your bullet wound ie. the antiquated infrastructure that i have had three separate DTE phone center operators tell me is to blame for the outages. I find it hard to believe the meters attached to our homes would cause or help and situation with substations melting down.
P.S. Patch how bout you explain to us what DTE was doing at that substation last week when residents noticed a fleet of trucks working there, or how they say that increased use of the second substation accounted for more blackouts when they told us that they were rolling brownouts across town to compensate for the loss of power from the first substation malady?
