Michigan will honor America's military service members through special events and offers in recognition of Veterans Day, Nov. 11
Veterans Day, a day for America to remember her military service members, is this Sunday, Nov. 11. Here's a round up of Michigan events honoring veterans as well as special offers for veterans by area businesses. Local events: The Ferndale Memorial Association will hold a Veterans Day on Sunday to honor military veterans at 11 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Mall on Livernois, just south of Nine Mile across from the Ferndale Fire Station. Statewide Events: Many Michigan businesses will be offering special discounts, freebies and offers exclusively for Veterans Day. The Ferndale Memorial Association will hold a Veterans Day ceremony on Sunday to honor military veterans. The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at the city's Memorial Mall on Livernois, just south of Nine Mile, across from the Ferndale Fire Station.
