Ann St. Peter, owner of Pinwheel Bakery in downtown Ferndale, said business has been up big time in advance of the holiday. “Valentine's Day is huge,” she said. Pinwheel Bakery has been offering a variety of love-themed treats including "i love u" cupcakes, Michigan mitten-shaped cookies with pink icing and red hearts over the Detroit area, and more.
