Parking will be free all day on Thursday, Feb. 21 and people are encouraged to shop, dine and enjoy all that the city has to offer. It's time to kick off the holiday season in Ferndale with 'Light the Town.' Thursday night from 6-9 p.m., head downtown to see holiday lights, new window displays at local businesses and more. The event is organized by the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority as part of its Third Thursday initiative.
