Ferndale Patch reader Noel Briggs-Tracy posted this message on Ferndale Patch's Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon: I did a very stupid thing today. I locked my keys in my car while it was running. not knowing what to do I phoned the Ferndale police to ask if they could help. I was actually surprised when they said an officer would be out. The most wonderful officer came out and after some time he was able to get me into my car. I am sorry to say I didn't get his name. I wanted to thank him for saving me on the coldest day of the year.
