Ferndale Patch reader Noel Briggs-Tracy posted this message on Ferndale Patch's Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon: I did a very stupid thing today. I locked my keys in my car while it was running. not knowing what to do I phoned the Ferndale police to ask if they could help. I was actually surprised when they said an officer would be out. The most wonderful officer came out and after some time he was able to get me into my car. I am sorry to say I didn't get his name. I wanted to thank him for saving me on the coldest day of the year. Hope your relocation is terrific Linda...FPD figured out customer service a long time ago and simply won't let it go....The smallest accomodations make the biggest impressions and then people are reassured that, in the event of calamity, that they will be professionally taken care of...No bragging...we wrote the model...look around and you can tell who followed...be safe, Chief K...ret.   more ›
