Ferndale Police Arrest Teen for Stealing Headphones

A 17-year-old Detroit resident was arrested on Tuesday, Jan 29 for reportedly stealing a pair of headphones from a 17-year-old Ferndale resident. The victim called police after a group of four young men approached him and one of the men grabbed the headphones from his head, according to a report from Ferndale Police. All four young men then ran away west on Pearson Street from Woodward. Police found the group and recovered the headphones nearby where the group was stopped, the report states. Officers arrested the suspect after he was identified by the victim. The case is being presented to the prosecutor’s office for a determination of charges.
