Ferndale City Council OKs Multi-Space Metering Proposal

Council members also approved four special event permits at their regular meeting on Monday evening.

Ferndale City Council approved a proposal for multi-space parking meters Monday evening during their regular meeting. The proposal, which council members unanimously approved, involves the installation of multi-space meters in all public parking lots in downtown Ferndale at a cost of $329,743. The project will be fully funded by the city's Auto Parking Fund reserves. The city will contract with Traffic and Safety Control Systems, of Wixom, for the installation and service.
