"I have been absolutely blown away by Ferndale. The people here are amazing," said Lindsay Bacigalupo, who was looking for her dog, Tyson. He was found Monday afternoon in Ferndale with the help of two residents who cornered him in a backyard.
Update 4:15 p.m.: Tyson was found on Monday afternoon and is now safe at home. His owner Lindsay Bacigalupo found him at Marshall and Hilton where two women cornered him in their backyard and called Bacigalupo. He is now home and in good care. Bacigalupo said earlier on Monday that getting help from so many people she had never even met before was very moving. "It makes you kind of believe in the good of mankind. People are still looking out for each other," she said. "[Tyson] means so much to me and for other people to recognize that and be willing to help out - I've been very moved by that." 12:43 p.m.: Royal Oak resident Lindsay Bacigalupo was in Las Vegas when she got a phone call from the place where her dog, Tyson, was being boarded…

Owner is offering a reward for Zeus and King, who recently escaped from their home.
Dogs Zeus and King have been missing Sept. 22 and the family is asking for the community to help find them. King is a 10-year-old, 50 pound male orange and red Chow Chow mix while Zeus is an 85 pound, 7-year-old male black German Shepherd Chow mix. They were last seen at their home on Gardendale Street in the Eight Mile and Livernois area. Both of the dogs are very friendly and will most likely come if called, owner Melanie Pagel said. They are not wearing collars. "I'm depending on mankind and the power of spreading the word through all avenues," Pagel said. A reward is being offered for their safe return.
