Suspect to be held at Center for Forensic Psychiatry on $25,000 bond, the Daily Tribune reports.
A man accused of exposing himself to a Ferndale woman last August was found incompetent for trial on Thursday in 43rd District Court, according to an article in the Daily Tribune. Kurtis Collis, 23, is charged with aggravated indecent exposure - a two-year misdemeanor - after the Aug. 29, 2012 incident and is being held at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry in Ypsilanti on a $25,000 bond, the article states. He will be examined periodically to determine his competency to stand trial. Police said the 52-year-old man flashed a woman at the McDonald's drive-thru.
A 52-year-old Royal Oak resident faces an indecent exposure charge after a woman said he flashed her in a McDonald's drive-through. On Saturday, Ferndale Police responded to the McDonald's at 22525 Woodward on the report of a man who exposed himself to a woman. The 24-year-old woman told police that while going through the drive-through line she was approached by a man who made lewd gestures while he walked towards her, according to a press release from police. He then approached her and pulled down his pants and exposed his penis to her, the report states. He then went inside of the restaurant. Ferndale Police are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself and began masturbating in front of a woman while she sat in her parked car in her driveway. Around 1:25 a.m. Dec. 13, police responded to a call from a 28-year-old woman in the area of Romeo and Orchard reporting an indecent exposure. The woman told police she was sitting in her vehicle in her driveway and talking on her cell phone when an unknown man approached her vehicle and knocked on the window, according to a news release from Ferndale Police. A 23-year-old Ferndale man is due in court for a pre-exam conference on Thursday after being arrested in August for reportedly masturbating in front of a woman in his neighborhood, The Daily Tribue reports. Kurtis Collis is charged with aggravated indecent exposure – a two-year misdemeanor – after an incident Aug. 29 in which he is accused of exposing and fondling himself in front of the 22-year-old woman, according to the article.
