Here's a look at the hours, activities and live music on tap today at Ferndale's DIY Street Fair and Funky Ferndale Art Fair.
The fifth annual DIY Street Fair and 10th annual Funky Ferndale Art Fair will be in full swing today in downtown Ferndale. The DIY Street Fair features 130 local vendors offering unique, handmade items. Funky Ferndale is a juried art fair including 120 artists from across the country and here in Ferndale. The DIY Street Fair and Funky Ferndale Art Fair are expected to draw thousands of people into downtown Ferndale this weekend to enjoy art, live music, food and family-friendly activities. According to the National Weather Service, a high of 70 degrees is expected on Friday with a 40 percent chance of rain. Need to Know: Funky Ferndale Art Fair 2012
Find out what's planned for the 10th annual Funky Ferndale juried art fair.
More than 120 artists from across the country and right here in Ferndale will participate in the 10th annual Funky Ferndale Art Fair coming up Sept. 14-16. The event takes place on West Nine Mile Road the same weekend as the DIY Street Fair on East Nine Mile Road. Funky Ferndale is a juried art fair, with more than 300 artists from across the country competing each year for the 120 available spaces, according to a press release from Michigan Art Shows.
