Update: Cat Returned to Ferndale Resident
"Foxy," the missing Maine Coon cat who turned up posted for adoption on Craigslist, is now home safely.
Ferndale resident Marilu Andracke has been reunited with her Maine Coon cat, "Foxy," more than a month after the cat went missing. Patch published this story last week after Andracke said she found what appeared to be her missing cat listed for adoption on Craigslist. She said she tried to contact the author of the ad multiple times but didn't get a response. After five days, she contacted Ferndale Police, who said it wasn't a police matter but one detective did send the poster an email to see if it would help. Andracke says she was finally able to figure out who had her cat and, just a few hours after she did, the person brought the cat to the Ferndale detective who had sent the email.
