Get ready for the week ahead in Ferndale with these five things to know.

Parking enforcement resumed last week after several weeks of free parking. Information on the new parking system, including a map of downtown pay station locations, can be found here. Rosie's Scaring for Caring is a contest going on now at Rosie O'Grady's in Ferndale where charities submit a scarecrow and customers can vote for the best one by putting a dollar in the bucket of the scarecrow they like best. All proceeds go to the charities. The Ferndale Golden Eagle Marching band has entered a scarecrow and is hoping to win $500 for the band.
