Toast is a small but often busy diner.  Toast is known in Ferndale for its breakfast menu, hence the name, but the restaurant also serves things like panini sandwiches and salads.  The interior of the restaurant has a display of toasters on the walls and along the bottom of the front window.  The toasters range from retro to even a hello kitty white-and-pink one.  One thing that screams unique from Toast is the different set of salt and pepper shakers placed at every table and booth.  Some special dishes you can find on the menu are the "Spicy Cali" omelet, which has guacamole and tomatoes, and also the "Blackstone Benny," which is their take on eggs benedict.  If you choose to eat at Toast on the weekends make sure you arrive early because the tables fill up fast!
