Saint James Catholic Church

The Saint James Catholic Church has a long history in the community. Since it first began as a gathering of interested Catholics in 1919, it has moved locations multiple times, starting in Central High School and ending where it is now -- just off downtown on Woodward. It has planted a time capsule that it plans to open on its 150th anniversary, and the congregation celebrates its continued support of both newcomers and generations of faithful families. It has also started and runs its own private school.
