The Lawrence Street gallery is a great place to shmooze and enjoy art in the presence of otherRead More artists (it is a co-operative). Royal Oak's greed head mindset would never permit a gallery to serve wine with trays of nibbles without a one hundred dollar fee. That is another of the many reasons that Ariana of RO threw in the towel. Congratulations Ferndale on largely overcoming most of your problems and keeping your city people friendly.

If you plan on visiting fabulous funky Ferndale a stop at the Lawrence Street Gallery is a must andRead More you can mingle and meet presenting artists at their receptions where unlike $$$$hungry Royal Oak that would charge a business a hundred dollars so you could quaff a little Merlot with your crackers dip and cheese. In case you did not know Ariana left RO's gallery unfriendly CBD. My dear friend Nora Chapa Mendoza whose works are collected worldwide will be presenting in June with a friend. Hope to see you then.
