Donald Red Geary Park is a neighborhood park with a baseball diamond, one softball diamond, two designated playgrounds, an inline skating rink, two small fields for soccer and a pavillion for gatherings. Geary Park is in the northwest end of Ferndale, between Pinecrest Drive and Central Street, and Earle Boulevard and West Lewiston Avenue. In the northwest corner of the park itself is the Heroes Garden, a small plot of young growth dedicated to the victims of 9/11, as well as the veterans of America's wars. Dogs must be leashed.
