- A How the West Was One construction briefing will be given at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority Office, 149 W. Nine Mile Road. The briefing is open to the public.
- A new student information night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at University High School in Ferndale.
- Rosie O'Grady's will host a fundraiser for Dog Aide, including a tin can auction and prizes, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.
- Produce and seasonal items will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, during a farmers market at The Rust Belt Market in Ferndale.
