  • The Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. at the Harding Administration Center.
  • The Ferndale Downtown Development Authority kicks off its free "Get Reel – Outdoor Movies on Vester Street" summer film series at dusk Thursday, July 18. Vester Street will be closed starting at 3 p.m. between the east alley and Bermuda.
  • The little ones can get moving at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, during DanceAbility at the Ferndale Public Library.
  • The third annual Pig & Whiskey festival celebrates food and drink Friday-Sunday, July 19-21, on East Troy Street between The Emory and Woodward Avenue Brewers.      
  • The Rust Belt Market will launch a new weekly farmers market from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 21.
