  1. The City Council will discuss a petition to legalize marijuana during its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at City Hall. Click here to view the complete agenda.
  2. The Glam Geek makeup shop will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 318 W. Nine Mile. 
  3. University High School will hold a new student information night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14.
  4. A How the West Was One construction briefing will be given at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Ferndale DDA Office, 149 W. Nine Mile Road. The briefing is open to the public.
  5. The 18th annual Woodward Dream Cruise will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.
