  1. The City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, at City Hall.
  2. The Laurie Johnson Project will play Blues Thursday, aka Blursday, on Thursday, July 25, at Dino's Lounge. Wash down a half slab of ribs with a can of beer for $9.95. 
  3. The 17th annual Ferndale Pub Crawl will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 26. The charity benefit will visit more than 16 venues. Visit ferndalepubcrawl.org for more information when it becomes available.
  4. Stop by the Ferndale Public Library for Detroit Waldorf Story Hour at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27.
  5. SKIN '13: A Melanoma Benefit – featuring former Real Housewife of New York Kelly Killoren Bensimon, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, cocktails, dancing and a live fashion event – will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at The Bosco. The fifth annual fundraiser will benefit the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.
