Let's Create 'A Huge Tradition,' Ferndale Baseball Boosters Say

All alumni and community members are invited to the expanded Ferndale High Alumni Games that will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 11.

The Ferndale Baseball Boosters invite all alumni and community members to help create "a huge tradition" during the fourth annual Ferndale High Alumni Games on Saturday, May 11.

The event will feature boys baseball, girls softball and co-ed games; a tribute to longtime Ferndale coach Annis Joseph; Dodge vehicle test drives to benefit Ferndale sports; and barbecue and other concessions.

"We're hoping this starts a huge tradition for our city and our schools," Ferndale Baseball Boosters secretary Barb Marohn-Landry said of the expanded event, which so far will include graduates from 1971 through 2012.
