Whiz Kid: Honor Roll Student, Musician Has Perfect Attendance

Coolidge Intermediate School sixth-grader Jonathan Turner says intelligence and being nice are keys to success.

  • Accomplishment: Jonathan is an amazing Ferndale Public School student who is midway through his third year of perfect attendance. He is an honor roll student, avid photographer, amateur bowler and self-taught knitter. He plays percussion in the Ferndale Elementary Band, was in the chorus of Oklahoma! and is in the Elementary Choir; he is a peer mediator at his school, a member of the Coolidge Press and has a part-time job. He is a volunteer at many district events, including Extravaganza.
