School Bond Subcommittee Meets Thursday

The process of forming the subcommittee will be finalized Thursday.

Ferndale Superintendent Gary Meier told the Operations Committee last week that to maximize the capacity of the bond, it would have to be on the February ballot. If it ends up on that ballot and passes, the bond would be $24 million. After February, the capacity of the bond would drop dramatically due to declining property values, Meier said.
