'Les Misérables' Cast Coming to Loving Touch for PTA Benefit

Tonight's event will aid Ferndale's John F. Kennedy School PTA and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

You may have caught the production of Les Misérables that opened last week at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit. But what is happening tonight at the in Ferndale will be much more intimate.

The cast of Les Misérables will perform cabaret-style numbers starting at 7 p.m. to benefit the PTA and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a New York, NY-based nonprofit. Tickets are $15 at the door. It's an 18 and older event.

In addition to the performances, there will be a silent auction during which guests can bid on items donated by the Broadway community and local businesses. Singer/songwriter Steven Mullan will close the evening.
