An evening of old-fashioned fun will be held outside from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday.
The annual Ferndale Elementary PTA June Fair has been a community tradition for more than 50 years and features dunk tanks, a "throw the bean bag in the toilet bowl" game, face painting, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, a cake walk, choir and band performances, fresh BBQ and more.
Ferndale parent and June Fair coordinator Brad Parks said the end-of-the-year celebration is open to everyone in the Ferndale schools community and is completely volunteer-staffed - with more than 100 parent and student volunteers participating.
All proceeds will go to the FE-PTA to fund special events at Roosevelt and , including school assemblies, buses for class trips, and teacher grants for special projects.
Guests will enjoy performances by the Ferndale Middle School/Ferndale High School Choir and Band. There is no fee to enter and the event will be held rain or shine.
