The Power of Hope: Hoper Givers, Hope Receivers and Hope Stealers

The Power of Hope presentations are free to the community.  Those interested can register with Debbie at (248) 858-0929.

In this presentation you will applaud Sherri Rushman’s personal recovery from mental illness and share her passion to pass on the importance of hope in healing from mental illness, or any challenge in life, and fostering goals and dreams. You’ll learn how to become a hope giver and hope receiver, identify some hope stealers you have known and remember how not to become one!

Presenter Sherri Rushman has lived with a mental illness for more than 40 years.  She has received local, state and national awards for her advocacy and education about mental illness and recovery.   Sherri has presented her message of hope to audiences across Michigan and around the nation.  She has worked for the last 8 years at Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority as a trainer and educator.
