Fight School Cuts Education Task Force Mtg

Ferndale Schools welcomes local state legislators, Representative Ellen Cogen-Lipton, Representative Rudy Hobbs, and Senator Vincent Gregory to this Education Task Force Meeting. Ferndale Schools Superintendent Gary Meier will provide an informational presentation on the School Aid Fund and the Governor's proposed cuts to K-12 education.  Our legislators will share information about the budget approval process going on in Lansing and the impact voters can have on the outcome.  Teachers, parents, community members will have opportunities to provide testimony that will then be hand-delivered to the legislature in Lansing.
