1. Ferndale school board meeting
The Ferndale Schools Board of Education will convene for a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Harding Administration Center. Check here for the agenda.
2. City Council meeting Tuesday
Ferndale City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ferndale City Hall. You can view the agenda here.
3. Holiday lights event Thursday
Downtown Ferndale will host its annual Light the Town event from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Enjoy a holiday stroll and refreshments as you check out all the holiday lights in downtown Ferndale. For more information, contact the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority at 248-546-1632.

4. School play opens Thursday
The Ferndale High School Student Enterprise Theatre will present the play Bus Stop, a romantic comedy by William Inge starting Thursday at the FHS auditorium. Check it out at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday or Saturday or at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are priced at $7 for adults, $5 for students/senior citizens and $3 for children under 12. Proceeds from Thursday's show will benefit Student Enterprise Theatre scholarships. Find more information here.
5. Bake sale at library on Saturday
The Ferndale Public Library's annual bake sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information or if you want to bake, contact Kelly at 248-547-6001.
