Local Government Monday! Preview of the Ferndale City Council Agenda

Ferndale City Council convenes Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.

At first glance, Monday night's City Council agenda appears to be a quiet one. But one never knows what one might get at a City Council meeting. The meeting takes place at at 7:30 p.m.

A few highlights from the agenda include:

Presentations from the Woodward Dream Cruise and beautification awards for the month of July will be given.

One of the items in the consent agenda, which is the portion of the agenda where many items are placed and thought to be routine by Council and approved in one big chunk, is the approval of a concessioner's license for Taco Mama.

, which would have been the first spot on the north side of West Nine Mile, heading westbound.

In the new license, the taco truck's location is listed as the north side of Withington Street.

The only thing in the regular agenda portion of the meeting is the approval of Helena Rose to the Ferndale Environmental Sustainability Commission.
