Eight candidates are running to fill four seats on the Ferndale school board.

Eight people are running in the Nov. 6 election to fill four seats on the Ferndale Board of Education.

The two candidates with the most votes this year will serve six-year terms and the two candidates with the next highest number of votes will serve four-year terms.

Board vice president Charles Moeser, trustee Nancy Kerr-Mueller and trustee Karen Twomey will remain on the board. Trustee Darcey McLaughlin is not seeking another term.

The Ferndale political action committee Citizens for Better Education is supporting Bradford Parks and incumbents Keith Warnick, Katrina Collins and Jim Pfleger.

Ferndale political action committee CLEAR is endorsing the "BOLD" slate, including candidates Amy Butters, Jim O’Donnell, Raylon Leaks-May and Kevin Deegan-Krause.
