Thief Who Got Away with Cash at Bank May Have Also Robbed in November

The man caught on tape Friday wearing a Super Bowl jacket in a bank robbery may have worn the same jacket in another crime.

Update, noon Wednesday: Ferndale Police Lt. William Wilson mispoke when he said the November robbery was at 7-Eleven. . The headline on this story has been changed to reflect that.

Monday:  of the  at 306 W. Nine Mile Rd. on Friday may have also been involved in a robbery in November.

“We think the guy in the bank robbery committed another robbery at the 7-Eleven store at Nine Mile and Pinecrest,”  Ferndale Police Lt. William Wilson told the Daily Tribune.

The connection between the two robberies, is a a blue jacket with a Super Bowl Millennium label, which can be seen on the surveillance cameras at both locations.

According to police, the suspect in these robberies is described as in his 40s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build. The public should consider him armed and dangerous.
