Man Police Say Fled Rollover Accident in Ferndale is Due in Court

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled Thursday for Everett Cordell Adams, 41.

An Oak Park man who Ferndale Police say fled the scene of a rollover accident last week is due in court Thursday.

Everett Cordell Adams on June 13 was speeding eastbound along Emwill and ran a stop sign at Beaufield, where he struck a southbound car, forcing it off the street into a nearby front yard; Adams' pickup truck rolled onto its side in the same yard, according to a police report.

A 19-year-old Ferndale woman who was driving the car was injured and taken to a hospital, the report said. The Daily Tribune reports her injuries were not life-threatening.
