Ferndale Police took reports of 13 larceny from autos that occurred during the late night/early morning hours on Wednesday.

The crimes occurred between Wanda and West End on the streets of Chesterfield, Jewell, Camden and Spencer, according to Ferndale Police Lt. Bill Wilson.

It appears that none of the vehicles targeted were locked, Wilson said in a statement. The thief or thieves merely opened unlocked doors and stole loose items from inside the cars.
