Surveillance Photos Show Suspect in Ferndale Bank Robbery on Friday

A man wearing a blue jacket with a Super Bowl Millennium label grabbed cash from Huntington Bank branch, police say.

These photos from the surveillance cameras of the  at 306 W. Nine Mile Rd. show a man walk in the office at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday.  A bank employee gave him cash and he fled through the back door and ran north through the parking lot, according to a press release from the .

The suspect is described as in his 40s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a a blue jacket with a Super Bowl Millennium label.

"He approached a bank teller and handed her a note demanding money," Lt. Bill Willson of the Ferndale Police said in a press release. "The robber implied that he had a gun."

According to police, the man may have been involved in other robberies and should be considered armed and dangerous.
