A Ferndale man created a disturbance and exposed himself to a crowd during the Woodward Dream Cruise, the Ferndale Police Department reports.
Anthony Zanetti, 50, was arrested at approximately 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, after the incident at Woodward Avenue and Maplehurst, according to a police report.
Zanetti was biking down the sidewalk when he ran into the back of another man and fell off his bike, the report says.
"The man he hit tried to help the bicyclist up and the bicyclist responded by yelling racial slurs and going into a tirade," the report says. "He began yelling at the crowd, dropped his shorts, held his penis in his hand and screamed lewd comments. During his tantrum, the suspect grabbed and pushed over a mailbox on the street corner. An unidentified man in the crowd punched the suspect, causing him to bleed from the side of his head."
The Ferndale Fire Department treated Zanetti for his injuries before he was arrested; he later posted a cash bond and faces charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, according to the report.
