Auto Heiress Elena Ford Faces Drunken Driving, Child Endangerment Charges
Ferndale Police records confirm Elena Ford was arrested for OWI Sunday evening.
Elena Ford, great-great granddaughter of Henry Ford, was arrested Sunday around 10 p.m. in Ferndale for operating while intoxicated near Woodward Avenue and East Cambourne Street.
Ferndale Police would not elaborate on the incident, citing that the department's public information officer was not available Monday evening. Police also said the family has not issued any statement yet. The arresting log, however, showed that Ford, 44, also had a child in the car with her.
