Health & Fitness

Welcome to My World...

I started Motor City Bootcamp in 1994 with a very simple philosophy in mind. That being - it doesn't matter WHAT you do as long as you do it hard. Hard being relative. Do more than you did last time and always show up. Everything that applies to my programs applies to everyday life. Whether it be work, your training, a family event... it doesn't matter. Just show up. It isn't about winning or even succeeding every time. It's getting there. That in and of itself is a victory. Watch my blog for training tips that will apply to life as well as physical training. My methods are NOT what you're used to reading about in run of the mill fitness publications. My theories are out of the box, my training is rigorous but effective and my people succeed. Their success being determined by what THEIR goals are, not mine. Everyone measures it differently and my job is simply to provide a road map with which to help you get to wherever it is you're trying to go. Is it different? Yep. Do I scare the mainstream fitness establishment? Yep. And that's good. It's also why Vogue named me one of the 50 Best Trainers in the US and why Men's Journal named Motor City Bootcamp One of the Ten Toughest Training Programs in the Country. Sometimes shaking things up is good because OFTEN times, shaking things up works. I look forward to blogging for the people in the community I grew up in, live in with my family and own a business in. I look forward to fielding your questions and hopefully helping many of you meet goals that you may not have anticipated reaching.
