Morris Hospital FREE Online Classes

I was watching a home construction program the other day and it was a great one that really broke down all of the steps.  Many times when we teach something in the clinic setting we have already thrown a lot of information at you, then teach a 4 or 5 week program in 30 seconds.  We wonder why so many clients fail.  So starting today we are kicking off our new online classes.  These will give you all of the tools and timelines necessary to succeed.  We will be breaking these exercises into baby steps.  In the end you will have a happier, healthier pet, and if you follow the steps you WILL save yourself money.
Our first session will walk you through conditioning your pet to allowing teeth brushing.  Now, stop it right there!  I hear the groans, I hear the "My pet will never allow that."  Bull!  Also, notice I said pet not dog- no slackin' if you have a cat!  Cats like treats and flavor, too.  The only way you will fail this course is if you don't try.  I guarantee that every pet out there will allow some type of dental care!  We all know how important dental care is- healthy heart, liver, kidneys, joints, etc.
Your homework has 2 parts to it.  Go to any pet store and purchase a tooth paste/finger cot kit.  The key to success is in the flavor of the toothpaste.  Pets like poultry, beef, bacon, cheese, etc not mint!

Okay, everyone have their kit?  Now, there is a commercial on the television so everyday apply a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and let the pet lick it off.  Okay, lesson over.  Go back to watching your program.  Do not force your pet.  Do not shove your finger into the pet's mouth.  If the pet is not interested you may need to return the product to the pet store and get another flavor.  Repeat this every day for about 7 seconds until you receive you next lesson.  You will have 2 weeks to practice.  Pop quiz to follow so get to it!
