Will it be your lucky night?

The Ferndale Education Foundation auction/dinner at Boogie Fever is coming March 15.

One of my favorite nights of the year is coming up next week.

What is it about live auctions that gets people excited? You never know what might happen. You never know who's going to be the winning bidder. You never know, maybe even you might just raise your hand on a fun item for a great cause.

And then there's the raffle drawing. This year the grand prize is $5,000. Will one of yours be the winning ticket? Have you bought your ticket? There's still time.

This year's event sponsors are Myers Innovations, , Galloway & Collens PLLC, J&D Auto Service and .

The $10 raffle tickets are available at Harding Administration Center (2920 Burdette), all Ferndale Schools Offices (Roosevelt Primary, Coolidge Intermediate, John F. Kennedy, FMS, FHS, UHS and Taft Education Center) and through any FEF Trustee. Party tickets are $25 and can be ordered online here.

So dig out those dancing shoes, hire that babysitter and don't forget your checkbook. I'll see you there!
