The comeback city: WWJ Newsradio 950 Unwired Coffee Series discusses Detroit’s urban rebirth

Detroit’s core is on the comeback trail. A recent Brookings
Institution report reveals that a 4.3-square-mile area encompassing downtown
and midtown saw employment grow more than 4 percent between 2009 and 2011 --
while the city as a whole lost nearly 6 percent of its total jobs. More than
12,000 new residents have moved in to this core, and more than 15,000 new
employees are working there. WWJ Newsradio 950 Technology Editor Matt Roush
will moderate a panel discussion on what sparked this urban rebirth, where it’s
going and what it means for the city and the region. “Detroit’s Comeback:  New Businesses and New Residents Moving
