OVIBE - Poetry and Art Slam (OVIBE.org)

OVIBE (OVIBE.org) is a one-of-kind experience that bridges the local community to dancers, artists, poets and creative visionaries of all kinds. Friday night, November 8th, is live Poetry and Art night at the Rust Belt Market in Ferndale. Six visual artists will compete for a cash prize by creating a new art piece within the allowed time. At the same time, poets will be competing in a traditional slam that's open to any signed up competitor. 

Entry is $5 and as always, all proceeds will be donated to the Refúgio Orphanage in Sorocaba, Brazil.
