Eight of Detroit’s legendary chefs will face off in the 2nd Annual Motown Macdown on Wednesday, December 5th starting at 6pm at One-Eyed Betty's  (175 West Troy Ave., Ferndale).  The macaroni and cheese “throw down” will benefit Justin's Vision, a non-profit organization that helps Michigan children with life-threatening illnesses enjoy a happy, carefree vacation experience, along with their families.

Mark Ridley of Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle will emcee the competition.  Tickets are $35 each and on sale now at http://macdown.eventbrite.com/#  with all net proceeds benefiting Justin’s Vision.  Guests will enjoy macaroni and cheese from the celebrity chefs. Sponsor, Garden Fresh Gourmet will provide a host of savory side dishes.  Guests will also sample baked goods from Ethel's EdiblesZoup's signature soups, original ice cream from Hudsonville Ice Cream, and specialty sandwiches from the Panini Press.
