Detroit Derby Girls Season Opener

Detroit Derby Girls, Michigan's premier female roller derby organization, kicks of it's 9th home season with a bout pitting the Pistolwhippers verses the D*Funk Allstars at the Detroit Masonic Temple on October 12th.

Tickets are available now at brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are $15 for adults. Kids 12 and under are free, limit two with each adult ticket. Doors open at 4:45 pm on October 12 with a game time of 7 pm. After party will be held at Third Street Saloon at 701 W Forest ave. Detroit, MI 48201

In addition to being a chance to watch a live action game of roller derby, there will also be a costume contests as well as special appearances by the Gleaner's Food Bank Zombies to collect canned goods and promote their Detroit Zombie Walk.
