Detroit Derby Girls - Detroit Pistoffs vs. Grand Prix Madonnas

Detroit Derby Girls, Michigan’s premier female roller derby organization, rematch the 2013 championship game to round out the year with a hard hitting bout between the Grand Prix Madonnas and the Detroit Pistoffs.
 
Tickets available now at brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are $12 for adults before December 8, $15 between December 8 and the day of the event. Kids 12 and under are free, limit two with each adult ticket. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. on December 14 with a game time of 6 p.m. Afterparty will be held at McShane’s at  1460 Michigan, Detroit, MI 48216. Shuttles from McShane’s before and after the bout will be provided.
 
The 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2012 Detroit Derby Girls Champion Detroit Pistoffs are eager to come back off a loss to the D*Funk Allstars and restore their position as a dominant league contender. With a heavily veteran roster, this team is looking to make this game one for the record books.
 
The Grand Prix Madonnas, started in 2011 to accommodate expanding interest in the sport, took their first league championship in 2013 in an intense battle against the Detroit Pistoffs. This being their first bout of the 2013-14 season they are still holding tight to that same intensity, despite bringing a large crop of rookie skaters into the mix
