1. Girls Night Out
Rusty Babes Girls Night Out, an event to benefit local non-profit organization Vista Maria, will be held from 6-10 p.m. Friday at the , 22801 Woodward in Ferndale. VIP admission is priced at $20 each and includes complimentary food, drinks and pampering services. General admission tickets offered at $10 each. 2. Spring bike ride
The Sierra Club Green Cruise is hosting a 25-mile spring bicycle ride starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the (meet in the parking lot behind the shop). Free bike check-ups will be offered at the shop. The event is part of , a weeklong "earth celebration" organized by the Ferndale Environmental Sustainability Commission.
3. Silent auction to benefit local preschool
Drayton Avenue Co-op Preschool is hosting its 20th Annual Silent Auction benefit from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday. This adult-only event is the preschool's biggest fundraiser of the year and will be held at Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church, 2441 Pinecrest in Ferndale. Advance tickets are $10 per person and available by calling (248) 224-0974. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the event for $15 each. See .

4. Student-led prom fashion show
A student-led prom fashion show benefiting the Ferndale High School PTA and Ferndale Rotary will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at . Ticket price is $15 for VIP (get in at 6 p.m., light refreshments served) or $10 for general admission. 5. Paws for Life wine tasting
Support a local animal shelter while sampling food and wine at on Saturday. For $27.37, guests will receive tickets for a choice of five wines to taste and a variety of appetizers. A portion of the proceeds from . Vintner’s Cellar will also donate 10 percent of sales from bottles of wine purchased at the event. It all begins at 6 p.m. and tickets should be reserved in advance online. Vintner’s Cellar of Royal Oak is located at 325 E. Fourth St., Royal Oak.
