Today: Trick or Treating in Downtown Ferndale, Halloween Parties and More

Several special events Saturday offer a day of spooky fun in Ferndale.

You don't have to look far for something fun to do today. Get in the Halloween spirit on Saturday with these events in Ferndale:

Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Ferndale

From 4-7 p.m. Saturday, children of Ferndale and surrounding communities are invited for three hours of trick-or-treating through downtown Ferndale.

Participating merchants will be passing out treats to disguised children and their parents. Look for the posted sign to know which places are participating. More information here.

Party at the Rust Belt

Halloween at the Rust Belt Market includes a costume contest for humans and pets (any age for either), a pumpkin carving contest and live music by Smudge Candy. Free event. Contests begin at 5 p.m., winners announced at 6:30 p.m. More information here.

Spooktacular at the Ferndale Library

The Ferndale Public Library's annual Halloween Spooktacular is Saturday from 7-8:30 p.m. Costumed kids can stop by the library and trick-or-treat through a haunted house. Find more information here.

Rockin' Hallo-Scream

Costumed adults can head to Boogie Fever where WOMC radio is presenting Rockin’ Hallo-Scream starting at 8 p.m. No cover, cash prizes and the host for the evening is Dave Fuller. More information here.
