Board of Education meeting

The Ferndale Schools Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the Harding Administration Center. You can find the agenda here.

Knitting group meets Monday

The , meets from 6-9 p.m. Monday at The Emory. First-time attendees are welcome to attend. The group will start charity knitting this week - at every meeting, you can drop off winter knit items and all donations will be given to Burners without Borders Detroit. Investment seminar at library

"Investing Strategically In Today’s Market," an informative seminar about financial investments, will be presented by Kevin Gebhard, a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferndale Public Library.

First school board candidate forum

A candidate forum for Ferndale Board of Education candidates will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Ferndale City Hall. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

Fido Does Ferndale is Thursday

Fido Does Ferndale returns Thursday from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Ferndale, featuring entertainment, dog-friendly shopping and vendors, a Pooch Parade, a Canine Treasure Hunt and more. The event headquarters will be at Schiffer Park at the corner of Planavon and West Nine Mile Road. Find more information here.
