Meet new school principals

Meet the new principal of , Derek Adams, from 12-2 p.m. on Monday. Adams will meet and greet parents and students at Best Park. There will also be a meet-and-greet with new Principal Eric Bruner from 12-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Grant School gym and playground. Treats will be provided at both events.

Summer Food Program continues

The Ferndale Schools' Summer Food Program began June 18 and continues throughout the summer at various locations. The 2012 in-school food service program will provide every child 18 years and younger with a free, nutritious breakfast and lunch throughout the summer. There are no financial requirements or qualifications for children and their families. .
